USDA allows yet another ‘slime’ for consumers

Report: 7 million lbs. of "pink slime" will appear in school lunches this spring http://t.co/HcZs7oMi

A new report out says roughly 7 million lbs. of “pink slime” will end up in children’s school lunches this Spring. The pink slime you see above is reportedly mechanically-separated chicken, aka: McDonalds chicken nuggets. The issue? The USDA has approved this “meat”, and doesn’t appear to be stopping anytime soon.

Do I have to stop eating chopped steak at restaurants now to avoid "pink slime?" Do I have to stick to steaks? Inquiring minds.
