Horrifying: Fla. Planned Parenthood lobbyist argues case for infanticide

Moral bankruptcy personified:

Alisa LaPolt Snow and Planned Parenthood of Florida are supporters of infanticide committed against babies born alive in abortion clinics.

This blows my mind. How tough is it to answer if a baby born alive has the right to medical care? tinyurl.com/c8s7kzq

Pretty tough, evidently. Watch as Alisa LaPolt Snow, who represents the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, performs moral and intellectual acrobatic feats in order to make the case for “post-birth abortion” (via The Weekly Standard):

Transcript:

Representative: What objection could you possibly have to obligate a doctor to transfer a child born alive to a hospital, where it seems to me they would be most likely to be able to survive?

Snow: What about those situations where it’s in a rural healthcare setting, the hospital is 45 minutes, and hour away, that’s the closest trauma center or emergency room? You know there’s just some logistical issues involved that we have some concerns about.

A child is not a logistical issue; a child is a human being. It’s horrific enough that Planned Parenthood insists that a developing fetus isn’t a person. For Snow — who speaks on Planned Parenthood’s behalf — to suggest that a newborn who manages to survive an attempt on its life is expendable “in a rural healthcare setting,” or in any setting, is to condone infanticide. And it’s utterly indefensible.

Evil people -> If a baby is born alive at an abortion clinic Planned Parenthood is OK with doc killing it. shar.es/d2K1s #UniteBlue

— Steven Badger (@stevenbadger) March 29, 2013

I’d hardly consider the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates the “good guys” in health care, @alisa_snow. They’re murderers.

— Rick Canton (@rumblindurango) March 29, 2013

Dear Planned Parenthood: I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure killing a live baby is both murder & a way to punch your express ticket to Hell.

— Georgia On My Mind (@Jeffares) March 29, 2013

So Planned Parenthood is ok w killing babies born alive after botched abortion despite the fact that preemies r surviving younger & younger

— GeoKat(@geo_love1) March 29, 2013

I’m so sick RT @l_wheels: Horrifying. Planned Parenthood official argues for post-birth abortion: bit.ly/11XEbRo #tcot #prolife

— Wacko Bird Redness (@mchastain81) March 29, 2013

<- doesn’t think a baby born alive in a botched abortion should be snuffed out. @ppact disagrees. #SICK

— RB (@RBPundit) March 29, 2013

Planned Parenthood doesn’t even care about the baby when it’s already out of the womb. There aren’t even words for the monstrosity of that.

— Nick Jacob (@nicktjacob) March 29, 2013

If anything can be gleaned from this sickening display, it’s this:

@jessicasmithr Disgusting but at least, for once, @ppact is being honest that it is perfectly acceptable to kill a child no matter what.

— frankgillespie (@frankgillespie) March 29, 2013

Morally reprehensible.
