Racist much? Zimmerman trial prosecutor notes Martin ‘didn’t even steal’ Skittles
Prosecutor just pointed out Trayvon didn't steal the Skittles if you feared he wasn't patronizing.

George Zimmerman is accused of unfairly profiling the late Trayvon Martin before he shot him, but it seems to us that prosecutor Bernie De La Rionda is engaged in some racial profiling of his own:
The money quote:
“Skittles that he didn’t even steal from 7-11!”
What’s Mr. De La Rionda trying to say, exactly?
Prosecutor de la Rionda in Zimmerman case: "He had skittles, skittles that he didn't even steal!" Is this real life? pic.twitter.com/0Tal1p8H60

Is he suggesting that Martin somehow defied a stereotype about African Americans in that he obtained his candy legally?
It sure sounds that way. Viewers were understandably appalled:
"Skittles! That he didn't even steal!" Wow.

"He legitimately bought those Skittles! He didn't even steal them!" – Great moments in mediocre law

Pros. points out that TM "didn't even steal (the Skittles) from 7-11". Huh? #ZimmermanTrial

"he didn't even steal them" something subtly racist in BDLR's saying that about TM's Skittles #ZimmermanTrial
