Explosion rips through Kansas City, Mo., shopping district [photos]

Several have been reported injured following what appears to be a gas explosion and fire in a Kansas City, Mo., shopping district. The explosion is believed to have centered around JJ’s Restaurant, which was completely engulfed in flames.

There’s no word of fatalities yet, but several are reported to be critically injured.
