NH state rep. attacks Fla. congressman for using ‘slogan of pre-WWII Nazi appeasers’
Rep. Trey Radel is a Republican congressman from the Fort Myers/Naples area in Florida.
Yesterday he repeatedly used the hashtag #americafirst in the course of explaining his concerns about a U.S. military strike on Syria:
Peter Sullivan is a liberal Democratic state representative from New Hampshire. This afternoon, Rep. Sullivan blasted Radel for using the same language as Nazi sympathizers Charles Lindbergh and Father Charles E. Coughlin:
We wonder if Rep. Sullivan was equally outraged when the Barack Obama presidential campaign used a Hitler Youth marching tune as a campaign slogan?
