When nearly a hundred students at Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, rushed Vicke Davis’ cash register at the school’s cafeteria, she had no idea what was going on.

The much-loved cafeteria worker had always wanted to see the Northern Lights, something she’d once mentioned to a student named Quintin Woods, who decided to spearhead an online fundraiser to send Davis to Canada for her dream trip.

This is the heartwarming moment the students surprise Davis with a huge check worth more than $2,000, and she responds by hugging each and every one of them.

Now that’s a great surprise!

Congrats to Vicke Davis for finally getting the chance to realize her dream of going to see the majestic beauty that is the Northern Lights, and kudos to all those kind students for making it possible.
