Mitt Romney’s ‘invisible’ garbage man trashes him in union campaign spot
At first, the new campaign video from the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees seems to be a dialed-back take on Priorities USA’s infamous “Mitt Romney gave my wife cancer” spot. Really, though, aside from the “victim” still being alive, it’s essentially the same line of attack. Mitt Romney’s garbage man, Richard Hayes, knows that his body’s going to break down from hauling Romney’s trash each week, and Romney just doesn’t care.
Hayes says that sometimes residents give him and the other trash collectors hugs. Not Romney, though. He was too busy counting his money to say hi, or something.
Romney's garbage man in DEM TV ad. Seriously. No word yet whether Romney caused Richard Hayes wife to get cancer & die. http://t.co/XviRwB6O

AFSCME claims the ad is the first in a series.
Next AFSCME anti-Romney ad will feature a waitress who once had to pick up a toothpick Mitt dropped on the floor at a restaurant.

It turns out that Romney spent some time as a garbage man himself.
