Gov. Mitch Daniels wants 6 more years of Sen. Dick Lugar … or does he?
Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels appears in a new television ad released by Sen. Dick Lugar’s reelection campaign. Twitter reaction to the 30 second spot was mixed.
The Mitch <3's Lugar ad makes me feel like Mitch actually has a personality! http://t.co/8n5443Ww

People are surprised by Mitch Daniels' endorsement of Lugar? Daniels was never a conservative. Bush budget architect, fought Right to Work.

My Man Mitch cuts to the truth for Dick Lugar. One Giant of Public Service endorsing another Giant of Public Service. http://t.co/8GBbxN2D

But did Daniels actually make the case for voting against Lugar?

Lugar was elected to the senate in 1976. More than three decades in the senate and Daniels isn’t “for Dick Lugar for what he’s done, but for what he can do”?
